A multimedia album experience, consisting of four unique music EP releases that are then combined into a wholly new experience. 6 years in the making, the project was comprised of a music album, full-length feature documentary film, multiple music videos, 7 physical CD packages and a unique box-set to contain it all.

The first three EP releases were illustrated by Eisner award-winning illustrator, Becky Cloonan with the fourth (Phantom) done by Brian Christopher. Each was a separate piece of a whole, with the unifying 'Polymer' icon set in the corner which feature highlighted molecule denoting progress. The final album cover (above) figuratively allows for the contents of the album to fill the shape.

Collected into three tiers of exclusive bundles (ie. Polymer, Polydisc & Polymorph editions), each edition contained unique assets that weren't available in the others. All photography and illustration aspects were remixed on each, so as to not repeat anything twice. Contents included an art book, custom slipcases, t-shirts and dual-colored 12" 2XLP with spot varnished highlights on a matte finish.

THE DOCUMENTARY:
The final hurdle (and cherry on top) was the 2.5 year process of finishing the full-length feature documentary Polyoptics: The Formation of Polymer, which chronicles and the creation of the album and the stories which inspired the music. For more on this portion of the project [CLICK HERE]
Multiple music videos were created alongside the full-length documentary. "Use Me" directed by Daniel McStay, "Five Sisters" directed by Pandamusk, with "Demon" & "Hunter" were self-shot and directed as they were pulled directly from the film.
